So don't.
You only have to concentrate for a short time. A lot of the
game
of darts can be won before a dart is even thrown. Yep you
heard me
right. Most of it (once you cover the biomechanics) is in the
head.
You should not be concentrating 100% of the time during a game.
You should be concentrating 110% of the time during a shot.
That is what matters, the shot the throw.
That is
when you need to block out everything before that, and during that.
You can talk and laugh afterward. But during the
shot all
that matters is getting that dart in the right place.
So teach yourself to block out everything, and focus on
what your about
to do. If your opponent manages to distract even 1% of your
concentration he will win. So Darts is more a mind game than
most people think.
Here's another thing. What are you aiming for.
The bad players will tell you, the dart board.
The bad players will tell you the 20.
the better players will tell you the triple 20.
The Great players will tell you, that little mark there in
the triple 20 on the right hand side.
AIM for something specific. not just the triple 20.
but something in the triple20.
If you are aiming for something vague you will hit something vague.
Aim for something specific, the smaller the better.
You
will not hit it. but if you miss by a little bit you will
still
be inside your objective.
